July 30th 2015 is when I said that my dream keyboard was a Lightsaver and Penumbra(wish I could quote it but thread is locked). I finally was able to get my hands on both the board and keyset, can't wait for them to come in. I'm quite happy now :D

I can feel my fingers again after 3 years.

I will give you some background. When I was in highschool I went to the gym A LOT. Like twice a day 5 days a week. I had a high metabolism and it was hard to put on weight but I tried my damn hardest (was in boarding school and got bullied a bit so it definitely helped). I went from 60kg to 79kg in two years with a low fat percentage. Then one day I woke up with pins and needles in my pinky and fourth finger in both hands. I went from benching 80kg to barely being able to bench 30kg. I couldn't do preacher curls with just the bar.

I went to a doctor and they told me I had nerve damage and that I would have to get surgery to release the tension on my main nerve in my arm. That was out of question as it cost an insane amount. So for almost the next three years I had to make do with numb fingers and extremely low strength. It was hard and a huge defeat. I recently lost a lot of weight in the past year as I have left school and have had to support myself (i.e. Not much food for a uni student) and am at 69kg.

But today I went for a massage and bowen therapy to fix my back. (I do a lot of manual labour on my holiday break and it ruins my back). Not only did it fix my back but I was also told I had carpal tunnel syndrome. The lady who I got the massage with released the muscles in my arms and almost immediately I have regained my lost strength and can feel my fingers after almost 3 years.

It has changed my life.

I can straighten every finger fully and can lift things with ease that I have found that I struggled with. It is the best thing that has happened in the past three years to me. ;'./[]\ I can feel these keys also and don't have to hunt for them. So if you have carpal tunnel and have issues with it go get some bowen therapy. Also make sure to get someone who does massage as well as I believe that it makes a big difference to get those muscles released at the same time.

Being 19 this year I can make the most of a time in my life where my body will take to gym like a fish to water and gain the lost kilos that I worked so hard for

Its an amazing feeling and I can't recommend this more

For the first time in quite some time I have single digit tickets in my ticketing queue (less than 5 actually)...all of which require no action from me (waiting on bug fixes from vendor, or replies from customers).

Keyboard drama, I love how ridiculous this all is  ^-^ ^-^

And how regularly it happens.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

gunnernaut is a good guy

...but now I am curious as to this random act of kindness.

He remembered that I wanted a cap of his from months ago. Unfortunately, being new, I didn't have much to trade with. But he told me if he ever decided to part with it would be mine.

Fast forward a few months - I had forgotten about the cap and the trade and out of nowhere he sends me a message asking if I still wanted the it and that he would ship it out the next day ;')
