The CEO of DSI Keyboards (DS International, Inc.) read my blog, and now he wants to speak to me.

Edit - Cool, confirmation that the DSI Left Handed Keyboard uses wire stabilizers   :)

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I remember the hydromorphone drip I got from my abdominal surgery.  Pressed that button allllll the time.  Still didn't feel "great", but I felt better.  :-/

Glad you're feeling okay during your surgery, hope the recovery goes well.  :)

Last week I finally had a chance to play video games for the first time in almost a year. So I've been playing NES games.

Good News: Got a call and an email about an internship I've been trying to get. Finally, I won't feel like college is a waste.

Bad News: I replied to the guy with my personal email. Name - Mike Honcho  :-[

Possibly Good News: It's my understanding that this guy has a sense of humor. Fingers crossed.

I was watching my sister's kid for a few hours over the weekend. He's a toddler so lots of happy and not so happy moments. There was this one moment though, I was on the couch watching Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and he climbed up on the couch and chilled with me for a few minutes
