This is going to sound sad--but I've finally moved on from my high school crush. We were dating other people during high school and it was totally a one-way crush but I couldn't get her out of my mind for some reason. She sent a friend request on Facebook a few months ago and I think that's what did it for me. Now I'm just relieved that I didn't creep her out :))

I think I might be getting to the same conclusion. Either that or I'm just getting myself down even more about it.

But I'm 26 lol

Last time I checked it went up to 2 a year but it's been a while so it can be more.

Tp4 didn't have a high school crush..

Tp4 was only concerned about Diablo, Diablo 2, Starcraft and Warcraft 3, back then..

College was when Tp4 was very into females..  It was heavy drinking twice a week @ parties, and many forgotten evenings..

Of late,  Tp4 is now super old and has engaged ascetic monk mode,  #Ronery4ever..

The fact that I got 3 weeks off work now. Just going to do as little as possible.
Hopefully it won't make me spend all my monehs. (Although it should hopefully work out a little differently now that I'm never leaving the house for 3 weeks. What's a good food to stock up on? :D )

Summer this year was pretty great. Sadly, I had to work on this day :(
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

The trouble is mis-information does not materialize into deadly consequences quickly enough before large scale damage is done..

sigh.......................

However, the counter point to this is..  well,  if it kills someone in their late 50s , early 60s,   then there's an actual GAIN in total productivity.. because it's all negative from then on as retirement offsets a person's positive contributions done at their younger age..

In the end.. people dying a bit sooner is Sad and Unnecessary, but overall IS NOT harmful to the human race..

Certainly the goal is not to have or let people die unnecessarily..   but we have to be objective and describe the situation carefully for what it is..

I hate to say it tp but you forced me to say it; if that was true then there would be no Kentucky Fried (Fried Chicken) Chicken. Lack of KFC IMHO would be devastating to the human race :(

Those are corner cases..

The majority of 50+ 60+ people get very physically ill, and their attending doctors Write up a storm of unnecessary scripts to DING medicare insurance to buy their low end boats and cheap Mercedes...

Calling people out on their incredibly ill-informed Facebook posts so that they delete them in shame  :))

Still doin it.

I used to Facebook-battle frequently, but then I realized that all that time I spent digging up sources and citations was wasted, because these idiots never read any of it.  So you wanna share posts about how colloidal silver can sure cancer or how vaccines are causing the outbreaks amongst people who don't vaccinate?  Have at it, just keep your disease-ridden children away from me and mine.

KFC is inferior to Popeyes..

The Pressure fryer destroys the texture of the Chicken breast..
