I don't think orange is a gross color for hair just using it to refer to what I saw. It was the nappiness of it D:

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. That box fort was epic, you have to be their favorite relative.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

Moondog is great. After being hailed as a freakshow in the 1950s-60s, he matured into a very good artist.

PM me your Dropbox and I will share several of his albums.
"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

None, just getting the weekly rate of $45 a night, it is the closest cheap hotel to the plant, and getting $75 a day per diem from the company.

Today was a great day to work outside.  Little wind and in the upper 40s.

That tree trunk behind you - at a first glance I thought you'd grown a mohawk!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I want to share an update with you guys. Earlier this year I noticed that I was getting a fat face and feeling unhealthy from too much laziness and junk food/salt consumption. I decided to eat healthier, less processed foods and work out more. I also decided to go through with something I had wanted for a long time: cosmetic and functional septorhinoplasty to straighten my nose and fix my breathing.

Result = looking and feeling better already. About 20 lbs lost.

August 2015 vs. Today (1 week post-op). "Before" pic here is after about 10 lbs lost.

You look MUCH better now. Not a convict anymore. And it's not the fat versus skinny difference. I don't see you looking too fat before.

thanks man. It is hard and I stumbled a lot while improving. I think what helped me most was to constantly remind myself not to trade what I wanted right now (e.g., junk food, being lazy) for what I wanted the most.
