I had meatloaf and buttered and peppered macaroni.

I heard they got this-- Nutriloaf -- in American Prisons..

When I read about it,  I really wanted to buy some, because it seems so convenient..  It's everything you need..

Just eat it.. and you live..  DONE..  No more infinite contemplation of --the balanced diet_

If you think about it, the cheeseburger is the perfect food. It has protein from the meat, grain from the bread, dairy from the cheese, vegetable from the lettuce and onion, and fruit from the tomato. You could eat two burgers a day and meet all your daily requirements.

The other day, I made Osaka-style okonomiyaki with kale and soy-ham.

The kale and soy-ham were leftovers stored in the freezer. I don't have kale because it is trendy but because it and ham are traditionally eaten on Christmas here in Sweden.

Today, I had only sandwiches... well, variations of fillings between two pieces of bread/bun.

For late breakfast/brunch, I made a sandwich inspired by Eggslut's Fairfax Sandwhich: Siracha mayonnaise, scrambled egg, melted cheese, cooked onion. I did not caramelize onion beforehand so I just fried some next to the egg.

In the afternoon, I had a vegetarian burger from a fast-food place. Nothing special.

For supper, tofurkey, pok choi, mustard-mayonnaise, havarti cheese, bell peppers between slices of rye bread.
And for dessert, the first semla of the year - which is why I had chosen a light main course.

I've tried to stirfry tuna before,  it always ends up a bit tooo-fishy..   what spices did you use to ameliorate the fishiness..

Well the cabbage itself has a lot of flavor but I used olive oil to start the cabbage then added salt, pepper, minced garlic, onion powder, sriracha, dash of garlic hot sauce, rice wine vinegar, soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame seeds and a dash of sesame oil.

And the tuna had onion in it.

White and poofy = Flour
Brown and less poofy =wheat
varying shades of yellow and white and not poofy = corn

Granted, when heating some corn tortillas properly (NOT in the microwave), they can poof a bit.

I generally hate all keycaps. Keycaps are for poofs. Real men touchtype on stems. Non-functional artisans are awesome, I use them for the ESC key ... escape is for cowards anyways, real men go frontal assault.

"That's an odd pairing," I thought when I first saw them.  Hot damn though, it's my favorite donut now.  I'm a fan of jelly filled and the PB adds ANOTHER fat level to make it insane.  So good.
