its like the idea of deep fried twinkies to me, seems to be going too far. like it tastes too good to be properly appreciated by the human tongue

Fair. I think that's pretty much right at the line for me. Tbh I actually probably would never order something like that lol. It's like the trend of r/food to keep making greasier and bigger concoctions, making 5 patty high burgers with deep fried bacon and donut buns

It's honey garlic ginger soy (and a few other things for good measure).

That shiny stuff is aluminum foil so I don't get the pan messy.

Three preparations of beetroot, cooked it myself today:

beetroot-potato mash, beef tartare with beetroot and radish on top (infused with thyme), and wasabi-rucola with beetroot-radish infused mayonnaise.

Oh, and self-made smoked salmon bacon on top of the mash.

I think you're thinking satay sauce, and yeah, thin it with some fish sauce and you'd basically have some people's version. But you will find many who think it must be done differently.

I had to look it up when he posted this elsewhere. Apparently those buns are made by using bamboo charcoal in the dough recipe. Pretty crazy.
