To be honest I'm not sure.  There are so many things I enjoy about this community, but without being able to further my relationships with people on here, it's hard for me to feel like I really belong.  The positivity and support here has gotten me through a lot of personal issues, but I'm scared those personal issues will get in the way of me giving back.

Amazing people here, great diversity, great knowledge base.  And fun off topics...

Staying.  You have all helped myself and my wife greatly.

I don't see why not. This is one of the few places where I've made friends in real life thanks to the meetups.

I have been officially here for 2 years as of April 3rd. I doubt I'm going anywhere. I've made more friends here - even people I consider irl friends, not just internet friends, then I ever have elsewhere. GH is dope. <3

999!

I can see myself here for a while.

I wonder if I can break 1k before April 3rd? I'm at well over 2k actual posts. My OT game is strong.  :p

Posts?

You're at 1003 now, apparently!

Congrats - are you going to request a star?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I always thought I'd leave when everyone started hating me, but honestly that just makes me want to stick around even more.

Guess if I ever got bored with Off Topic and the pretty pictures in GH Media.

Well, I'm probably not going to lose interest in keyboards for a while, and there is no point in sticking with a hobby without a decent community to interact with :)

On a side note somewhat related to the topic coming from someone still fairly new to GH.  The reason i started posting more here lately even though i frequent a few other KB forums etc.  Is the community seems much more welcoming and less volatile here than several other places.  Lot's of people talk about GH being drama this drama that, but honestly my experience has been pretty positive personally.

I think about leaving every day. So many toxic, not understanding people.

There are a few that keep me around.

You've been here about 10 months, you've probably seen a few little dramas.

Mind you things have been pretty good for most of this year :)
