A composite image, showing how big the Andromeda Galaxy would appear in the sky compared to the moon, were it sufficiently bright. Andromeda is 2.5 million light-years away. The sheer scale of interstellar distances and objects is crazy !

Yeah I think we are in a bit over our heads. There is no owners manual for spaceship Earth. Even if there were it would be ignored or selectively followed at best. Between global warming, political instability, collapse of society, wars, nuclear weapons, marauders, chemical warfare, viruses, famine, disease, terminators, ice-nine, natural disasters, meteorites, alien invasion, etc...planet is doomed.

HRrrrrmmm..... They probably have to put the screws in Before toasting, otherwise screws will probably split pre-toasted bread...

In terms of sogginess, the mounting periphery can be flame glazed with honey or sugar to harden against moisture.

Yes but this is how you get ants since they will find the tasty sugar infused bread and nibble it to shreds. After toasting if you pre-drill holes for the screws this might prevent cracks but I agree it should be screwed first and then toasted.

I'm curious what the percentage of hybrids and electrics are in the UK. Over the past decade up to present it really does seem like every other vehicle I see in the US is either fully electric or a hybrid. I probably see about 20-30 Teslas a day alone, let alone Prius which seem like the new Camry for most common vehicle on the road. Is it the same over in the UK? Weren't they talking about banning carbon emission vehicles or something?

Oh I know all about SDV tech, believe you me. I am super nervous every time I see a Tesla driver using that feature and always steer clear of them as a ped because I can tell you for absolute certainty Tesla's tech is not up to safety standards and was implemented way WAY too early. They use a camera-based system which is super ****ing dangerous. Think about when you are driving and how much you cannot see. Blocks ahead, behind objects, around corners, etc. A camera-based system solves NONE of the inherent faults human drivers have. IMO the only and safest way, albeit more expensive both financially and in time, is to map an AI machine learning system through radar data collection. Driverless vehicles need to be BETTER than human drivers, not equal to. It is insane to me how Musk got away with government allowing Tesla to use the self-driving feature based upon the committee knowing absolutely nothing about the technology. Musk is the monorail guy from The Simpsons.
