[The Seasons of Alzheimer's, Remembering Mom]

Ms. Kay's book chronologizes in great detail the duration of her time spent with her mother from the early signs of alzheimer's to the very end.

Of the greatest interest from this text is the juxtaposition of their very quaint lifestyle with those possessed by modern audiences.

Each day of theirs is not without toil, but they've been able to sustain on simply joys such as sing-alongs and religious concert videos watched each night before bed.

As a dweller in modernity myself, their story is of tremendous contrast to our own perspective and behaviors.

Many of us and our proximal bodies seem jaded towards everything except that of which is jarring to the senses. Yet in Ms.Kay's chronicle, the olden characters have the ability to derive some joy from almost all activities, even duller choirs.

Today's science influenced societies naturally move towards godlessness. Perhaps little thought is given to this by most, as the immediately tangible benefits are many.

However, what has been clear from the very first diary chapter to the last is that having an ingrained sense of an-almighty is highly beneficial in crisis.

When confronted with the perils of chance, a person's sanity, in this case Ms.Kay's mother (who has alzheimer's), is greatly buttressed by that unshakable belief in a perfect-goodness.

Just as man can not move immovable objects, a trust and reasoning structure bound with an equally persistent theorem which requires no-cognitive resolution is an opposing ever burning ember. It crackles until the very end of physical possibilities.

It is because of a deeply programmed sense of faith, that their mental core is always grounded against adversity.

Those are the thoughts derived from this diary book by the-often-mad-Tp4.. Another reader could certainly reflect and feel differently.

The thoughtless reduction of a product into buy or not buy, as is common across modern media review is not helpful.

Ultimately what we choose to do is an investment into an idea. Tp4 recognized the positivity even before reading the book. This aura can only come from action which is not done for shallow profit or advancement.

An OG like Ms. Kay is already rich with many offsprings and grand offsprings. Her act can only be motivated by genuine empathy with those who have faced or have yet to face deep challenges.

The cause is devoid of any traps.

The details in the writing is of great benefit in examining and deciphering the nuances of the human-condition.

The prose is of american straight tongue. There is no dramatization, it's a straightforward record of the day to day.

Those who enjoy creating their own thought-exercise would get the most out of this text.
For the more Laid-back, this is still ever more worthwhile than the endless stream of superficial kickstarters.

Nice review tp.
My wife's side of the family have had issues with Alzheimer's, so I'm definitely giving this a go.
