What happened to SPRIT? Did he just turn out to be scammer?

So I've been on deployment for the last four years, and I returned to this community only to find that he runs his own website now and is still an active member of the community on GH and reddit?

I paid him $400 for a custom board in the R2 group buy several years back and I never received anything from him.

If need be, I'm thinking of writing up a huge post with picture evidence and concrete proof of him scamming me.

Many people from the keyboard community says he is pretty shady. I've only dealt with him through Ebay and you are protected there and I have yet experienced anything bad through that shop.

By the metric of gh - not that it's necessarily wrong - each seller who has been in the job for many years has probably scammed someone, one way or the other, if you take into this metric the fact that they haven't delivered on time.

Originative (this happened years ago), now they say they're legit.

Ellipse - not really to be considered, development is still ongoing
Massdrop - same as oco, fixed everything (as far as we know)
GON - scammer, not sent out old orders

It's important to remember that just because you haven't been personally scammed, it doesn't mean that someone else hasn't been scammed. If you scam one person, you're a scammer, and should not be supported.

There's also some fine line difference between SCAM, Unreliable (Soldering services), and Incompetent (Groupbuy organizers).

Most sellers fall into the latter two..

Scams are typically much more thorough, and they perform a significantly lower percentage/ portion of the advertised services/deals .

Okay, easy. Order something on his site (maybe even fill something out wrong in the form). He'll more than likely send you an email. Engage in a conversation and then bring up that order and see how it goes I guess. He's sporadically sent out a few of them every now and then, maybe he'll be open to figure something out with you.

oh yeah, I would never trust him with larger orders. Loosing 20-30$ on some springs is nothing I would cry over when there is no other supplier for Alps ones as far as I know.
