now everything is black and silver trim... with the exception of macs which are silver and white trim...

Pretty tempting, I've been wanting a white board for a while now. Gonna probably have to wait on it for a little while longer though, just splurged on a 144hz Asus monitor. Good find, thanks.

My last Filco experience destroyed my love for the board, i ordered a new one off of Amazon- every key freaking pinged like crazy, i returned it and got a new one, that one was also bad, not as bad but i couldn't stand it. i thought maybe its a problem with the batch Amazon had (crazy but still) so i purchased one from NCIX, was even worse wanted to shoot myself in the face with every word typed.
Then i bought a qfr with reds, beautiful. bought another one with browns, no pings at all every key is smooth - dunno maybe its just my bad luck.

I believe the beige Filcos are hard to come by; just like the Leopold FC200.

I think he's referring to the low prices, compared to Amazon or likewise.

I bought from them before a long time ago. It's awesome to see they finally have English translations. It was a pain trying to figure it out last time with google translate.

Bought from them several times.  Never had a problem.  Purchases were 100%, and delivery was fast.

I got my second mech from them (CMstorm QFR) back in late 2011, and they were legit.

I'm considering getting this not because of filco hype, but so I can add stuff to it. Filcos get way more love than QFRs.

Opinions may vary, especially since they're two different products, but I will agree that the dual-later PCB on the filco (with plated through holes) is much better than the single layer that the QFR has. Having a dual layer would have meant my QFR probably wouldn't have failed in the way it did, and even if it had, repairs would have been much easier.

All that said, I'd probably paint the case on this one, were I to get it. I reserve beige for buckling spring.
