Was making some nice pasta at school today, lots of fun.
until some kid managed to set the cooktop on fire then later the table sheets, literally right next to our station.
Fortunately, nobody was hurt.

Kid had never used a cooktop before and claimed that the cooktop wouldn't ignite so he used a lighter to try and light it up.
Seems like fun

sure is.  :))

Cleared more ADD_DATE="" ICON="" from my Chrome bookmarks. Just 134 more lines to go of 1750 total. I would have automated cleanup but this is my first go at a python program. The objective is a browser/device agnostic website bookmarking system using python/css/html. :shrugs:

I did some collecting for charity at a sci-fi convention. I cosplayed a little bit, got to sit in a DeLorean that had been tricked out into a Back To The Future - car and sang Happy Birthday to Christopher Lloyd: not at the same time, but those were the highlights.

That's not as weird as a couple of years ago when I helped roll down a Batmobile down a makeshift ramp that we had just built -- because the Batmobile didn't yet have an engine fitted and they couldn't use a forklift for some reason.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Stayed home from work and went to the new mall opening near my house. It was pretty empty, terrible time to open a shopping mall in this age.
But all the food places had free food, so I hung around for like 2hrs just eating :))

Dropped my car off at the Auto Body shop to have the damage fixed from where an idiot backed into me while I was parked to go watch my daughter's school fall parade.

I went through our 3rd bedroom which has become a storage for us. I'm constantly amazed at how much garbage I have.
I feel like some low level hoarder.

I have, had random crap going back years. I'm talking stuff like a gas receipt for $8 from '08. I don't even own that car anymore.

I also had every box from generations of computer upgrades going back to 2010. Ridiculous.

Anyway, I made some great progress and feel closer to having a 3rd bedroom, or actual guest room.

The cleanse continues…
