Perfect Analogy for Keyboard Enthusiasts
« on: Sat, 29 November 2014, 23:19:54 »
Next time someone asks you what it's like using mechanical keyboards, show them this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jO5IaAKTKsQ

Cracks me up!

Also learned about 'Hacker typer' website through it.

Enjoy!

PS. Hope this isn't a repost!

If you remove the "s" from "https" and sacrifice a keycap, the YouTube preview might show in the post.

And how did you know how I type? :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Thanks! I was trying to get it to work. Removing the 's' made the link disappear and left space for a video, but wouldn't load. I figure I'll just make it a normal link.

And I know it because it's how we all type around here..

There have been a few problems with YouTube previews recently.  Just http://something.youtube used to work, but not for a little while now.

Pics or it didn't happen....
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

I **** you not, I went to one of those typelikeahacker sites 2 days ago with my HHKB just to mess with a friend. Makes this video so much funnier for that exact reason.
