Allow me to briefly rant about yesterday:
WTF? The best thing about yesterday's keynote was Airstrip for Apple Watch, a third party app?? Adobe seriously messed up on stage...and the iPhone 6s has to be the dullest device in Apple's history. I recommend you all take a few minutes and watch some of
Apple's old iPhone ads.
Where's the magic? The tantalizing connection between the human and technology? If anything, the iPhone 6s definitively proves that the iPhone is now (or maybe has been for some time) a piece of art; it exists for the sole purpose of existing. This phone isn't really solving our needs like the old devices could - we're now relying on what others can do to workaround Apple's blunders - aka the App Store. I miss the older iPhones...I guess you could say the 3GS is incremental, but the 6s is the first to be so lackluster IMO: 3GS had larger storage capacities, 4S had Siri, 5S had Touch ID...
I'm also intrigued by iPad Pro, but unless work is buying it for you, I'd hold off until the 2nd generation...even with a supposed 4GB of RAM it needs a better OS. I really hope that iPad Pro will signal to people (and themselves) to slow the $@#$ down with hardware, and focus on better software. The fact that an iPhone 6+ can have more apps on its homescreen than the iPad Pro is not only baffling, but embarrassing.
edit: So, no, not upgrading to the 6s, or the 6. Another year for me and my HTC One M8!
