Make sure you keep your sinuses moisturized. Breath out through your nose as much as possible, and avoid breathing out through your mouth, which wastes the steam in your breath. The moisture in your breath surprisingly is enough to keep the nasal cavities from basically drying up and shrinking, which is what causes the pressure / pain. I only recently made this discovery about a year ago, and I'm 22. I wish I had known about the breathing technique growing up, I could have saved myself plenty of tears / misery.
oh... breathing technique discovery. touching.

What pisses me off is the only way to get some is to go to a doctor, who I have to pay, and waste my time talking to, when I know EXACTLY what I need, and why. Stupid, STUPID American pharmacy laws...

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Thanks Flip. I'm going to the doctor tonight to get some sinus stuff. The sicknesses in the last 6 months have not been all sinus related, thank God...

Hey small fry.. What really helped me with sinus symptoms is "nasal rinse"  really cheap, $27 off Amazon... comes with the bottle and everything you need.. MUCH better than a neti-pot

http://www.amazon.com/NeilMed-Sinus-Rinse-Bottles-Premixed/dp/B001HDRHR8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358328513&sr=8-1&keywords=nasal+rinse

That's really expensive! Getting used to a neti pot is worth it at that price.

I've had lifelong sinus problems too. I started using the neti pot when pseudoephedrine got expensive and controlled.

Thanks, I'll get right on burning this house down! But I agree. Open a door into a room, why the f**k is the light switch on the left side behind the door, instead of simply on the right? *baffled*

Just means I won't be making lots of small keycap purchases - waiting to collect a few together in one order.  Where possible.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I think USPS just bent international shipments over and had their way with them.

they already charged more than a lot of other countries do for equivalent int'l shipping (at least when tracking / insurance is added)... damn it... can't i just pay another few cents in taxes every year to support the USPS? i really don't mind i swear.

Getting out of the shower and realizing there's no towel.
Taking a messy s**t and realizing there's no toilet paper.
People who use "their" and "they're" improperly.
When somebody talks forever, doesn't let you get in a word edgewise, and then thinks you're upset because you're not saying anything.
When you take forever to explain how to do something to somebody, finally get them to understand, and then they go and do the opposite
