You could send one if you have extras. I have to conserve some things until an auction is over to see where I stand.

well i was going to just buy him one and see if I could just have it shipped directly :o

there is no such thing as extras in my 'collection' *cough*  ;D

The clutch on my Alfa 147, maybe the 3rd one will hold more than 25.000 km.

For the first clutch I blamed my brother because he was driving, on the other hand he is a computer scientist who doesn't own a car, what does he know about real machines. :P

I just started playing hockey again in an adult recreational league, no checking or anything and a pretty low tempo pace.  The league has a lot of different divisions based on skill level.  There's not a whole lot of parity in any of them, but the one I play in is probably the most balanced.  Even with that, there's still some guys that feel the need to stroke their egos and skate circles around people and try to be a one man team.  It's really frustrating for people like me who are just learning, I don't think I'll be able to improve much if this kind of stuff continues, I might just need to find a new place to play.

Haha, not quite. It's just a recreational league for people who like to play competitively, have fun and not have to worry about getting injured.

Actually, my experience is that people get injured more often when they aren't playing carefully. If you expect a hit, you're almost always prepared, but if you don't and then accidentally crash into someone, it's much worse in the end.

BTW how do you do defense on blue line? O.o

Thank you, I really appreciate the thought.  She's doing fine, she had a mass removed, preliminary biopsy appeared to be nonmalignant.  I'll know for sure sometime next week :/

And I hope my post didn't make my gorilla glass or radiator appear to be more important to me, those things are just the icing on the cake!

People that more than once in a while post short posts JUST TO POST something. "This", "lol" and "omg" are among the things I can't stand to see as a response to something.
If you really can't find anything to say about it more than that, then just keep it to yourself.

i wish i had at least a yard to act as a buffer. people walk past my door alot because the sidewalk is right there; it would be easy for someone to yank a package off my doorstep without anyone noticing. luckily that hasn't happened yet.

I hate it when people are just plain rude.

I was on my bike today, the tram passes me by, stops, and opens its doors. I start slowing down (almost at a stand still but still balancing) so people can get out and get on the sidewalk.

While I was thinking I am being considerate, leaving everyone enough time to get out, some lady looks at me and calls me a "vuile schoft" which is Dutch for "dirty scoundrel". Maybe she thought I should have gotten off my bike or something. But there was really no need. Besides, it is not my fault the tram stops in the middle of the street.

you call her an old slut then.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.
