1 keyboard just isn't ergonomic in terms of hand placement. And there are no mechanical split keyboards....SOOOOOO I can't be the only one using 2 keyboards simultaneously right?

What do you mean, there are no mechanical split keyboards?

Nevermind the Ergoplus or the M15 as they are crazy expensive now, but there are others: utron, maltron, kinesis, northgate, and there must be more like the Truly Ergonomic.

I have three keyboards on my iMac (one Bluetooth and two USB), and two keyboards on my windoze/Linux box (one ps/2 and one USB). I tried typing on two simultaneously, just for fun. It didn't really work.

I also have a Bluetooth mouse, a USB mouse, and a Wacom "mouse" on my tablet.

Different interfaces for different uses. This is one thing USB and Bluetooth did right!

Beyond weak.

Actually, when I feel like using 2 keyboards at once I run into a problem of Shift keys not working across both keyboards. I did find a little program someone wrote to make it work, DualKeyboards, but I find it annoying to have to run it every time I want to have some fun..

Makes sense to me. I would like to use 2 Model Ms or Unicomps but there's just not enough space on my desk to do so... Also, where do you put trackball/mouse? Between keyboards?

I currently have three keyboards hooked up at work. One MS Natural 4k, some thin dell quiet key and my beloved MX11800.

Only reason I currently have this setup is because I didnt want to bring my good PS2-to-USB adapter at work, so sometimes my mx11800 will stop working... and wont work till I reboot. Plus I'm having issues letting my MS nat. 4k go...

Yea, that's pretty much exactly what I'm talking, about , except mine is ghetto rigged, so I just use two regular keyboards side by side

And for those of you that are wondering, NO, i am not able to utilize ALL them keys at once. I just alternate the keyboards once in a while to make sure key wear is about even.
