Best 144Hz G-SYNC 24-27" monitor?

I'm not sure I need 4K (but if I do, let me know ), so 1440p seems reasonable. The cheapest I saw was a 24" for $350, but is there a reason to spend more?

This monitor will be mainly used for for FPS gaming and video editing. Video card is a 1050 ti (though if I need to, I'll splurge on a 1080).

I'm guessing TP4 has an opinion on this.

Let me know what you recommend!

TN or IPS?

I use S2714DG (TN) from dell and its pretty good. Colour repro is not 100% (I have a 100% sRGB gamut calibrated benq a few meters away to compare) but for FPS its very nice.

I think TN because I don't case as much about color or viewing angle. Refresh rate is key here.

You should be able to pick it up for around 500 on a refurb sale w dell.

get the LARGEST,  ULMB monitor you can afford.


120 vs 144 doesn't matter,  but it has to support ULMB at that refresh rate..


ULMB is a night and day competitive advantage for FPS games.

No, not all..

but overall, you still have to look at the ULMB performance _Reviews_ of that monitor ,  because some have problems, it's a tricky feature to get perfect, yet most valuable for gaming.

BL2710PT, its AHVA panel (IPS derivative) but I use it for photo work.
