during i think either middle school or high school, i used to get on this lame avatar chat program called the palace. during that time akademiks clothing was popular. i, being the original snowflake that i am, couldn't think of anything so just used akademiks as my handle. a friend thought it meant a.k.a. demiks.. so i was called demik because demiks looks weird. so i just started using that from then on. it's been my steam name since i can remember, and only changed to los angeles crimes (again, ****ing original) for a brief period during my CS:Source days. so yeah, that's how i got that name. only on another forum that i've been on for like 10 years is it different.

oh, and, only in steam is the D capitalize in demik. everything else is all lower case. just looks weird on steam for some reason.
