Well worth the money. Nike Free Runs gave me such bad shin splints. Never get Nike shoes for the sake of running. After learning the hard way it's not a "runners" running shoe. It's more for style.

I picked these up a couple days ago, unfortunately my feet are too wide and the....toe part jams into my pinkie toe and hurts like a mother****er so i think i'm gonna get rid of them.
I like how they look though so I might try to stretch out the front, if that's even possible.

It's yellowing. White shoes' Achilles heel.

Too much moister in the air where you store them that's causing it.

In very early January I went to London for a couple of weeks, during which I was trying really hard to track down a pair of triple blacks, but couldn't find any for anything less than ~AU$300, so no luck there. After coming back, this was the closest I could get. Picked them up on my birthday from Footlocker.

Really love the Tubular mid/outsole, super comfortable. Obviously taken from The Y-3 line (one day I will get a pair of qasa highs...) but I'm really looking forward to the next wave of tubular models - particularly the Tubular X.

I love Chukkas! Those are nice, but what do I know? I'm an old man.

A big part of my problem is that my 2nd toe is longer than my big toe, so I need "square" fronted shoes.

Those "pointy" toes are murder on my feet because they do not accommodate the 2nd toe.

Are chukkas the same as desert boots? I honestly don't know. I picked up Clark's desert boots in black suede.

Let me ponder the "back side" of what the word insecure might mean. Insecurity on the front side of the slope is different on the back side.

But yes, back in my day, those suede ankle-boots were called "chukkas" and I have worn out several pairs of them.

I think chukkas are the general style, and desert boots have moreso to do with the material of the sole of the shoe.
