Any of you run into width issues on the Made-in-USA New Balance?  It looks like 95% of those shoes are D width only...

Most of the limited run stuff that looks nice only run in D width

The classics like 574s with the basic colorway have wider sizes

Thanks.  I finally understand the importance of good shoes; I've been buying $35-$40 Made in China New Balances from Kohls and they just don't last.

Last week I went out and bought some Red Wings 8618's for work.  Unfortunately those are "Assembled in US with imported Materials" -   I wanted 100% US.  They are comfortable and well made; Next experimental work shoe will be a Thorogood Enforcer Code 3 Oxford's made in Wisconsin.

I also need sneakers so I think I'll have to visit a NB store and see what they've got.  I need 4E so I may have to go the customization route - but even those don't allow for 4E which makes no sense.  I've got some fat feet son!

Copped these this weekend. I've been liking Aquas since I first got into sneakers in high school ~ 6 years ago; my friend had the old retros, and when he bought OG aqua 8s for $100 to repaint, I fell in love. I own 2 of my top 5 favorite Js  8)
The nubuck is eh, and theres too much glitter in the purple midsole, but the OG gray colorway is worth it for a 2016 retro.

Never been a fan of 8s but the grape color way is FIRE.

A few years ago I the old Puma disc sneakers, which I had as a child came to my mind and I searched for new models, but only found some which looked like a spaceship. A few month ago I searched again and found these. Unfortunately they were already sold out everywhere.

But the ones you posted are amazing. Could you tell me which shoe this is?

Tiny bit of Google-Fu produced the following.  They're Ronnie Fieg Kith brand Pumas.  Looks like the model is Coat of Arms.  Though he appears to have done a number of colors.  The black/cyan is just one offering within the Coat of Arms model.  Looks like maybe a 2014 shoe from all the links I'm seeing.

There appear to be a number of them on Ebay.

There's a lot of shoes I could buy over $1000 but all of them are leather soled, recraftable shoes.  Thus far my running shoes may hit upward of $150 and I've thought about some casual sneakers in the $400 range but they'd have to be particularly awesome to consider it.  Most were expensive because of label rather than materials and build quality.

Aldens are a damn solid choice.

For that price range I'd love to pick up a pair of burgundy Vass plain toe oxfords in the F last.   Of course, I'd like to bump the price up to around $1500 and grab a pair of Gaziano & Girling Sinatras as well as a pair of St. Crispins - possibly some monk strap ankle boots.

Casual though?  I dunno.  I keep wanting to try the Lanvins.

Kinda like these.

These could be fun :D

These, were the damn logo not smattered all over it would be fun.

If you're getting a $1000 shoe it better be a dress shoe or custom sneaker. Everything else I've seen is ugly as sin.

Honestly I question custom sneakers at more than about $500 and even that would have to be a really nice shoe and made by a  quality shoe company.  So many of the high priced sneakers seem to be from fashion labels that had all their attention on aesthetics and almost none on comfort.

This weekend I'm going into a NewBalance store and try to find something with a 4E width...

Also later this year I want to get a set of 6" boots.  I don't why ... they look nice ... :)

I have my eye on these Red Wing 8882's

Problem is I have wide feet, and I think these only come in 'D'.  SoaB!

^ I also have wide feet, and was lucky enough to live close to a RW store when I bought my 875s. I'm a size 9, but my wide feet causes me to wear 9.5 in most brands.
For the RW 6in boots, I tried the 9 and it fit perfectly, width wise - just a tad too long.

You can see how my toes don't reach all the way into the toebox, causing some lifting. Also... THE BREAK IN PERIOD SUCKS *******. My heels were destroyed for ~ 2 weeks, and I thought it was beacause the roominess of the boot caused chaffing when walking

I received a 2nd pair of RW 8618's tonight.  I hear about break in issues but these oxfords feel great on day 1.  It must be the boots that are a ***** to break in.

BTW here is an interesting article about Made in USA New Balance shoes in China.

plus it was sample size for a minute. so you were able to get some unreleased ****. but it was always first size to sell out.

plus, maybe bias, shoes look better at that size. only thing that rivals it is kid's shoes but that's because they're just adorable. but another over 10 looks stupid as hell. ol' stretched out looking ass hoes.

1,200 people are killed each year over sneakers

we know

when i used to collect sneakers i camped once for the defining moments pack (http://www.flightclub.com/jordan-le-defining-moments-pack-multi-multi-010351) and i got the last pait... not in my size. i had a police escort to my car so i wouldn't get robbed.

my ghetto ass ended up trading them for a dog >.<

Sorry for the disrespect senpai :<  I know 99 retros and OGs are called BC4s, but most just call em Breds now. Yeah I got the 2012 retros when they came out. I went Friday/Saturday to a mall in Yuba City, and only 2 of the 4 of us got pairs  - not me. So I went to the mall with my family Sunday, and Footlocker was getting rid of the extras from raffle no-shows. THe feeling of actually getting a pair you love in your hand is the best. I fkn licked the sole of those, idgaf. I licked em BOTH.
I only cop my favorite Js, there's too much work put in to just have em for a bit and let em go. My BC4s (<3) have paint cracks on em, so I have to buy Angelis paint. I instacopped my Aquas when I saw em, I went full on spongebobsavage.jpg

You have DS swooshes... so sexy. RIP the soles hahahah
