ugly as **** - they look like angry mutant toads you wear on your feet

I pray you save yourself $200

I concur, try and snag either the yeezy's with that money this week or save that money for the ronnie fieg ultra boosts

I have been wanting the Mastermind XR1s since they were leaked like over 6 months ago. Checking news every day to see if they are coming soon. Now they are finally releasing tomorrow and it looks like not a single goddamn retailer in my state will be carrying them. Not one.

Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned by far, I was hesitant due to the price but they are super comfortable. I've actually been wearing them around the house because they feel better than my bare feet :))

Again not a fan of the sock top though, the only thing ruining an otherwise perfect shoe. I like wearing socks and these are meant to be worn without socks I think. Not sure how long the Primeknit will last, they seem very delicate.

I'd rather wear socks with sandals than shoes without socks.

Although shoes in the house?  Tsk tsk.

figure I'd hijack and ask:

I have Wide size feet, 2E, and I'm looking for some all-black, really flexible sneaker/runners, for dat stealth casual look you know!

anyone got any ideas? I quite like no-drop shoes, like the new balance minimus, but open to any suggestion - assuming there are any that would fit my criteria.

I like the look of all these nike/adidas ones, but they're very narrow and the adidas felt very stiff.

A lot of people here do.  Hit up Styleforum and you'll get plenty of talk about shoes and specific shoemakers.  I find this thread entertaining though I'm really not much on streetwear which seems to be the bigger focus.

Definitely throws off the aesthetic a bit for me.  The black ones with the grill the same color as the shoe are a bit better in that it blends in more making it less an odd visual obstruction.

ohh the Livestock ZGs are nice. Not generally a fan of ZGs but the collab ones are pretty fresh, the cement soles and leather heel really bring it together. The Livestock Sambas are really nice too.

I need to try some Aldens on.  Only pair of boots I've tried in ages was a pair of John Lobb Highgates.  I had a difficult time not forking out the $1500 to walk out with them.  I still regret it, actually.  My wife would have been pissed but, as the old saying goes, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Doesn't matter, super comfortable waterproof and warm. Their chunky style reminds me of the '90s and if I get hit by a car I know they will never fly off my feet.

The design is very different from Merrel's due to the shoe essentially being made of 3 'layers.' One part that grips your heel and bridge on the inside, the middle leather and suede part, and the top which is totally flexible allowing for full ankle movement with support. They get really hot though.
