a big bird that is never cooked right.

It takes experience including trial and a lot of error to get it right. After decades I can do it very well, and now kind of resent being served poorly-cooked turkey.

Deep frying is much more of a sure thing for beginners, although I have never bothered with the gear and money to do it myself.

Used to be my favorite Holiday, now it is only a reminder of how consistently alone and poor I am.

One of the best aspects people rarely talk about is how for the next few days while eating leftovers all your ****s smell like delicious Thanksgiving dinner. It's so odd to me how even with all the combinations of ingredients that go in one end, they still come out the other smelling quite similar. A Thanksgiving miracle!
