Questions about MX Cherry Switches
« on: Fri, 18 January 2013, 18:11:39 »
I am wondering if anyone knows a few things about MX cherry keys

1) What type of plastic are the keys made from?
2) What type of metal are the contacts made from
3) Are they machined/milled plastic or made from a mold
4) Where are they made? Germany? China?
5) Does an external company make them for Cherry or do they have their own equipment?
6) Anyone been on a factory tour?

Thanks for answering some of my questions. Can I ask how you know this information?

Yes I am serious...? The 4 corners of the top shell look like they are sort of cut based on the marks I see on the edges
