What happend last night?
« on: Sat, 10 August 2013, 03:53:50 »
So I woke up, came downstairs and noticed the widow had been smashed. First thought "Oh ****, we've been robbed". All the cars were still there, tele was there so we were all good on that front, went outside to look at the window noticed it was covered in ****, I mean the entire wall was just covered in ****.

Oh great we were robbed by a guy with diarrhea ?

But the other option is that a cow came up our drive and just **** everywhere which is okay, but if you know where I live its not exactly a cow highway so what the **** happened last night I have no idea.

Also my sunglasses on the inside of the window got sprayed with ****, any thoughts as to what happened ? :( .

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

My first thought was something gone wrong with a neighbor who was pumping out their septic system, but I expect you would have heard that racket in the middle of the night.

How close is that wall to a road? Maybe you were hit by drive-by dung flingers.

I'd be interested to hear what really happened if you figure it out.

Perhaps it was the toilet of an airliner being evacuated and your home was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

We had about a 10-15meter drive, so we're not on the road dont think it was a passer by. The cow thing was my genuine conclusion. Some farmer was herding his cattle at earlyAM and one got lose, it happens people more cattle down the roads here.

so, just one piece of s**t on the ground and one broken glass of 6? not that much of a disaster.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. i'll report back when i find a place covered in s**t here. not sure if it happens in my lifetime.

seriously, a cow taking a s**t on your house wall? did it climb on your roof and make a s**tfall?

Guessing youve not seen a cow ****? (Understably if you dont love in the country) They project it, it goes flying everywhere. Like I said if you saw my drive you'd be a lot more confused as to how a cow  got there.

i have. i actually have spent a lot of time in the country. what you posted looks (surprisingly!!) pretty much like a cow s**t to me. i just can't imagine a wall covered in it. it can't happen here: we traditionally have fences around country houses. also i wonder why a cow would break your window. did it drink in a local pub? or... you sure you didn't try to bring it home youself?

You could be on to something here.

Was there a trail of empty beer bottles, MY keyboards and graffitied Clacks on the ground?
