i ain't got time for pets, especially not cats. if i were to get a pet it'd be a dog.

cats always act as if they deserve something. nah. if you haven't done anything (cats never do anything ever) then you don't deserve anything.

the only thing a cat has ever done is throw up on my shoe.

My cats are sitting in the garage because they would scratch up the leather sofas and puke on the cables behind the TV, not to mention be absurd attention ****s.

Well, one of them was an attention ****. One of them was a literal scaredy cat, and the other didn't give two ****s about anything.

so what you're saying is, they suck.

if you had a dog he'd be a) wanting to play b) sleeping.

in conclusion, dogs are better than cats.

I do have a dog. Alongside cats.

The dog is about as loving as a dog can be. Curls up on the bed, and is far too happy whenever we come home from somewhere.

Those are your best threads.  You don't suppress the rage as much in them and they're often awesomely bizarre.

How do you guys deal with it when your pet kix it....

I mean.. I totally want a pet when I'm 50... surely we'll both die in close proximity..   But I don't know if I could take a serious heart-break at 55...

Both of my inside pets (one cat, one dog) are around 8yrs old, it'll be different when they eventually die and they are part of the family but at the end of the day they are also just animals.
