Air dusters for electronics

I was just wondering if anybody else has an electric duster. I bought one of the metro data vac electric dusters. I would always run out of the can type dusters and they seem to loose pressure when they get low.

This one works great, never runs out, and  has plenty of attachments. The cord is also very long so never a need to use an extension. This is the one i am talking about: http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=73297

I have that same one, and it's perfect for cleaning out PCs and keyboards alike. In the long run I think it's a good investment.

I also think I ultimately have to credit Ripster for the recommendation.

Yeah i had mine for maybe 2 years, and used it often.  In the long run it paid for itself already.

I saw someone sell rubber bladders in the Keyboards and Mice section of an auction site, to be used for blowing off dust from keyboards. Exactly the same item that you can get at the pharmacy for about a dollar/pound/euro ...  What a douche.

I use the vacuum cleaner. Whenever I clean under the desk, I clean on the desk also.

I used the vacuum cleaner at one point to clean out the inside of the computer case . But one time the plastic wand had built up static charge that discharged against the components so i decided against using it in the future.

I tried finding a datavac, but nope, not in Norway. Guess I'm stuck with cans of air for now, although the easiest source is also insanely expensive, so I either go through more trouble to get them or I pay way too much.

I just use a tooth brush usually.

or toss it in the dishwasher. Although I probably wont be doing that with mech switch keyboards.

data vac is good.. it used to be $40    now it's $60... Fffffffffff........   still goes down to $50 though according to camelx3
