[Q] about Ergo Clears.

I would like to ask if anyone has used 65g springs on clears before ?
It's really hard for me to source 62g springs here to make ergo clears.
Anyone thinks 65g is alright to be used on clears to make ergo clears ? =/
& should I lube it immediately or let it wear out for a few months first ?
& is the lube from EliteKeyboards alright for this mod ?

65g will be fine (in my opinion). I use an even heavier spring, 67g, and really enjoy it.

Don't buy the EK lube; buy the thick formula from Originative. This is a mix of Krytox GPL 206 and 1506, and will last much longer than the EK lube and do a much better job. This stuff has really been battle tested.

I'm not sure if I can get them from originative since they don't accept paypal & I'm currently based in the UK. sooooo yeah 
anyways, I was thinking 3g won't be really noticeable so I guess I'll go ahead and get the 65g's.

I had 65g springs (from originativeco.com) on my ErgoDox for a while. They felt really good (not too light). I only went back to stock clears after I got my 2nd ErgoDox and didn't want two different spring weights for my clears.

Now I'm hooked on stock clears, such an awesome typing experience.

Even 70g would be fine...
I prefer 65g over 62g, slightly less sticky!

I've heard (from VesperSAINT) that as you go up in force, tactility increases, and the switches get better for typing and worse for gaming. 65g vs 62g is not very large, though.

Also, you should use them unlubed for ~4-6 months before you lube them if you want them to be really smooth (longer for maximum smoothness).

I've tried stock clears on the switch tester but not on a proper board. I kinda like it but I've tried swapping some 62g springs on it and it felt pretty nice I'd say.
I'll try clears with 65g springs then. About lubing I'll figure that out later as I'll have to find a way to get it to the UK. :x

It depends on where you lube and how much.

any lubed mx switch, when typing fast,  feels LINEAR..
