I saw some nice bikes today in town...
« on: Thu, 12 June 2014, 18:50:08 »
...which reminded me of an exhibition of Harleys at MOSI I went to the other year.

Does anybody else like bikes/chops/V-twins etc?

Thanks a mill tp4tissue I used to be into bikes in my teens but now i just admire them or get a lift home on the back of a friend`s machine. The ones in the pics are unusual Harleys and they were all beautiful.

I have a pair of V-twins, but they're not choppers...

Moto Guzzi 850T (modded into a cafe racer) and Moto Guzzi 1000SP. The 850 is actually more fun to ride.

Owned a few bikes in my life (Honda CB100, CB500 four, CB650x2, Suzuki GS450 and the 2 Guzzis), only destroyed one (the GS450, came off at high speed due to tankslapper caused by leaky fork seals... Learnt the hard way about maintaining your bike).

I still want a '96 Honda RVF400R (NC35). It's a work of engineering genius. One day when all my higher priority stuff is paid for.
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.
