You need this... perhaps even-M0re than an Egdx..
Your coccyx is your tail.. we all have it..
Basically what happens in modernity, is that sitting compresses a VERY SHARP bone against your skin...
As you know, compressive forces are banal when the contact area is large.
However your coccyx is like a blade against your skin, -from the Inside- !!
as you can see from the picture.. if you sit long enough, with your coccyx against the skin against the bottom of the chair.. EVEN with lots of cushion.. gravity will win..
The device you need is one of these vvv
HOWEVER.. you do not need to buy one.. if you have 2 identical bath towels, you're set..
DIY Instructions belowOK.. get 2 identical towels.. OR equivalently thick ones..
Fold them into a dimension at least 6 inches wide..
Thickness is important, squeeze the final folds together, you should have at least 1.5-2 inches of thickness..
Then just place it on your chair.. one for each cheek, front to back, Following your legs as you're seated..
Make sure there's at least an Inch of space in the back where your coccyx is, so that it's essentially FLOATING and not touching anything..
It is the cause of significant lower back pain for many people.... especially in flat bottom chairs..
This Gif, has never been more appropriate vvv
This is NOT just for people with coccyx injury.. my coccyx is not injured, but whenever I stay at the desk too long.. there is this Dull pain in the lower back...
