This is a Youtube Masterpiece

New League of Legend virtual charater music video.

Look at the way they use digital Grain to defeat youtube's compression algorithm and provide very smooth color gradients.

It's perfection. The videography is so on point.

Tp4 is only evaluating the technology, the content is generically trashy.

It is crazy to me that LoL has lasted this long and basically kept an entire company afloat. By all reason a FTP game with only 4(?) stages and repetitive content wouldn't last an entire decade, but here we are. Even DOTA2 still has a substantial player base.

I guess TD games are closer to fighting games in content in what they offer so the replay caters to a certain type of player.

LoL and Dota pretty much has no competition in their market so they will survive as long as peoples will want to play MOBAs or that a new and shiny moba catches on. kinda like old RTS if they keep on remastering and selling the old ones it is because nothing has come since to surpass them, just that the f2p model of LoL and Dota2 works better in the long term and do not require remasters or sequels to make more money.

to be honest i never heard of it, so it may be superior, but it as no recognition yet and if it can't run on your grandma's toaster it will never be as popular, because that is also part of why LoL, Dota2 and CS are still extremely popular e-sport, those games can run on anything, and publisher only now seem to start to catch on to that, most very popular games are either older or are extremely optimized and low-ish graphics. most new MOBAs did not understand that and failed while being technically superior, if only 10% of the playerbase can migrate maybe 1% will and you will never see much success.

Hope you are referring strictly to the video and not the actual game, because otherwise one addicted player reaching 50 soon would have to be quite uncomfortable ;)

Just found this AOV and it's mobile game originating in China, therefore comparing it to desktop game from US it's like saying how superior rubber dome keyboard is because is sold in millions. Not to mention level of difficulty (you can't succeed in LoL by spamming one button ;).

You can't win in AOV that way either.  AOV is exactly the same game as LOL but BETTER, wayyyy Better..

Riot is also owned by a Chinese company too, to be fair

i was referring mostly to the videos and the skimpy skins for some of the female characters the game in itself is decent, even though they removed my 2 favorite modes and the community is quite often enough to make me quit after a few games, win or loss.
