Too bad it requires a special surface to work and is really loud. It's basically a loud electromagnet that you stand on.

Cool!

I have wanted something like that ever since I read "Uglies"
“Look, what I’ve gone through nobody’s ever gone through. I’m a very legitimate person. I built a great business. Everything’s been …. I’ve been under siege. Nobody has ever seen anything like this in this country. Now in other countries, in other third world countries, or Banana Republics as they say, a Banana Republic. We’ve become a Banana Republic. At the border we’ve become a Banana Republic. With so many other elements of our country we’ve become a Banana Republic. You take a look at what’s happening with inflation. That’s a Banana Republic inflation what we have.” - Donald Trump 2024-06-06

I totally think it's cool..

buh...  now that I got internet....   maybe what I need is some sort of ergonomic hover chair..   Assuming the intense electro mag field doesn't cause cancer or disrupt brain function..

So awesome that they are continuing to work on these.  Shame about the build quality though.  Thing looks like it was put together in an 8th grade shop class - complete with wood screws and zip-ties.

Too bad it requires a special surface to work and is really loud. It's basically a loud electromagnet that you stand on.

it's not even levitation. not interested.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.
