i work over nights and when i have things to do im often up for over 24 hours, its a mess. It takes a toll on my psyche, i usually do odd things when im extremely over tired/seeing colors. Just yesterday i was cooking breakfast sausage on the stove and cooked my eggs in the microwave, my autopilot is failing me
don't come to my funeral, there wont be one

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I can usually make it past the 24 hour mark with no issues. As soon as I pass 30 hours, I start to hallucinate. Used to be able to hit the 36 hour mark no problem in high school...I may have had a gaming problem.

I can make it to 36 hours and then I have the problems OP described. I can go somewhere between 48 and 72 hours before I begin hallucinating and acting like a mental patient. I once went for 2 weeks sleepless (severe caffeine and school work problem) which led to a hospital stay. I only really need 3 hours of sleep or so to be completely functional even now.

Lack of sleep varies for me. Generally being tired during the day messes with me. During the night I'm alive.
I love sleeping though, it feels soooooo good.

Sleeping is the best
