apparently these lazerz are 1watt continuous..
I think basicallly.. they singe your gum pockets slightly to kill the germs and because of the mild burn, you bleed and it causes the gum to reattach and heel against the planed/cleaned tooth..
It's kinda like when you get a laser facial .. but for your gums.
Honestly, from an engineering standpoint, I think this procedure is aight..
But, it's Prolllllly not needed and an "UPSELL" for most people.. and a way for dentists to bill your insurance for as much as possible.
For me personally, I haven't had my teeth "worked on" for about 15 years..
(And yet i have no cavities)
So, I was like, what the hell.. I'm gonna get another 15 years out of this.
