How to repaint Lolita Spyder 87 Keyboard?
« on: Thu, 03 November 2016, 21:08:07 »
How does one repaint a floating keyboard?
I wish to repaint the base plate of the Noppoo Lolita Spyder and I'm  wondering what i have to do to repaint it?
Do i have to de-solder the switches to access the base plate?
Do i need to sand the old paint off to repaint it?

I cant find any disassembly pictures and want to research more before I modify my keyboard.
The keyboard is white and it has begun to lose its white color( has dirty white look).

Any tips would be appreciated since I'm very new to modifications.

P.S: My keyboard has small stains and dirty particles on it, is there a coating to reduce dirty particles form sticking to the base plate?

if you want to repaint it, and it's plated,  then you gotta desolder all the switches..

Recommend desoldering pump.. a big one, not the small one..

you can lightly sand it to get the scratches/scuffs off.
