Hi folks,
My ducky has developed a dull LED on the numpad.
My brain tells me this is either a bad LED or that it needs re-soldering.
My brain also tells me that in either of these cases im going to need to solder this if i want to fix it myself.
Common sense would tell everyone that this (clears throat) Is a bad idea.
Anyone know of an UK based places that will referb this for me or should i just stop being a **** and do it myself?
Whats involved if i do it myself, do ducky use special switches with the LED built in...
I thnak you for your time.

The led will be soldered directly to the pcb. If you take the board apart, and look under the pcb, you'll be able to see where it's soldered. You should be able to just add some more solder to it, assuming that it isn't dead. If it is dead, you'll have to desolder and replace the led.
Be warned though, that if you're going to be buying a soldering iron and such, a RadioShack type soldering iron is not going to cut it. That's a great way to burn your pcb beyond repair. Make sure that at the very least, you get a soldering iron with adjustable temperature.
Otherwise, I'm sure there's someone on gh that could probably do it for you...
