A man needs a purpose in his life.
People are to caught up by getting some high paying and high status job that they hate doing.
Dont settle. Follow the grind till you get what you want.
Hard work pays off. Long days and sometimes no social life. But it pays off.
I bought a brand new house at 25 and am now starting to invest in my dream of owning a brew pub.
I also had to work my ass off, but its so worth it now.
Sadly some of us learn this too late and get used to making (and in turn spending) a certain amount of money then find ourselves trapped and stuck in what we are doing with no clear path of escape and our purpose becomes work, work, work.
Would like to clarify, it's your Liabilities which are the TRAPS, the amount of money you make is not where the obstructions come from.
Wifoo, Mini Spamrays, mortgage = trap.
Yes this is also true.

Don't forget you can't change some liability - for example kids. And then you have to plan for their college and made personal sacrifices just so they can get good education. Only to have them **** in your face years later.
Go call you mom, guys! They made A LOT OF sacrifices to get you where you are!
Naa, Dad made me join the military.
Best decision of my life.
I learned so much from the military.
Leadership, fellowship, independence, responsibility, hard work, etc.
On top of that, got real world experience and a free education.
Not to mention all the benefits you get being a vet.
My dad has given me $0 after I left the house.
Minus the 10k for a deposit to help with options on a house. But I gave that right back after I closed on it.
