How is it that a BBC "season" is 3 shows?

Off-topic: I read Dr Strange comics in the 1960s-1970s and it was one of my favorites. I expected the movie to be crap but it was actually quite good.

ngl didn't really like it. felt like a filler episode, and when you only have three episodes a season you can't really afford to have filler episodes. No matter how hard I try I literally don't give a **** about mary.

Me and my gf only started watching Sherlock last week and we are on season 3 already. Hopefully we catch up in time to watch the final episode of the 4th season on the 15th.

I thought the plot was way too convoluted and up it's own ass. I was stone sober and had some trouble following how some bits fit in with anything relevant whatsoever.

Not a good start to the season IMO, far too over-thought and over-written. They need to go back to basics with what made Sherlock a good series in the first place.
