Have looked into this topic in years past, there is no credible information set on it ever having occurred.

Most sources confirm it's been a fictional hoax perpetuated and stoked by fantasy.



Mechanically, as long as there is enough artificial grav (ship spin), everything does line up as far as initial docking.

Of course the limit here is the male hydraulics which given the lower blood pressure in space would not function optimally.  The more gravity the better..

Over time on extended space travel, it's possible that the circulatory system would deteriorate such that hydraulic function would permanently perform at reduced specs.



Overall,  not a pressing concern.  We need much much faster ships for this to ever matter.
