I just found out about the
Cloud Nine C989M ergonomic split keyboard. It seems to have been out for a couple of months but I couldn't find any mention about it here.
Anybody tried it?
It's like an mechanical version of the angled, tented Microsoft "Natural Keyboard" series.
I have heard requests for a new "Like the Microsoft 4000 but mechanical"
so many times throughout the years (here and elsewhere), so I think it is
about time that we got to see one on the market.
Unlike a pure MS4000 clone, this one is also split into two detachable parts. No detachable numpad though.
Besides a few in text, I could find only one Youtube-review:
Apparently only MX Red, Brown or Blue switches, and no adjustable tilt or tenting-angles.
The config software is Windows only, but according to
one text-review the macros are at least stored on the keyboard itself.
Before hearing about this keyboard, I had seen posts and
images from Velocifire about them having prototyped another mechanical "Natural Keyboard"-clone. But Cloud Nine beat them to it...
