I mean I feel like it would be addicting it's a game based on poker hands.

Also cookie clicker is like tailor made to send consistent dopamine to your brain for a while with all those increasing numbers.

Ghhahahahahh Tp4 messed up, didn't know what increase rank of card meant.

Changed 2 Aces into 2x 2s.  That's what it meant.... wth gon' do with 6x 2s in the deck.

It's not at all a cookie clicker, that's a type of AFK game, which Balatro absolutely isn't.

That said I really enjoyed it though! Even as a former poker player I thought it was really well done.

Sum'o deez cards yo, why do they even exist?

Red card is performing excellently, skip booster = +3x multi, it's @ 30x multi already for Tp4. Seems good early game, since early boosters don't help much, just skip.

The only legendary joker Tp4 saw so far is only 21 multi, so this seems almost as good, and you can unlock / use right away.

OK, for future reference,  ANKH, spectral card,  perfect copies, including the charged multiplier, so if you have a +45 multi, it will guarantee you a +45 copy.

It copies a random joker, destroys all other jokers, but if you only got a big card, then you can sell the other 4, and guarantee the copy.

Tp4 just copied his RED card with that much charge, now guaranteed 90x multi, this is awesome.

All flush build, the problem is, down to 5 card hands, it feels dicey.

What's the hardest hitting hands you guys have gotten? This build is around ~300K. Don't think it has durability, it feels like it'd get outpaced by the Levels-creep soon. Can't use any complement jokers because Negative spectrals won't help, can't afford to reduce hand size anymore, it's already too dangerous for flushes.

Oh boy I can see this game getting addicting. I just played a few hours after seeing this post.

I had to pull myself away after a few hours. It really is a fun and sticky game, especially on 4x game speed. I completely lost myself for a bit there

Vangelis Blade Runner tracks are excellent background for Balatro.

Once you get used to playing, the whole game is just flipflipflipflipflipflipflip.  The sound is so satisfying.

Even with the music off, you can just calmly be enveloped in, and absorb The Balatro.

What are the odds.   Got a +3 lvl Straight flush on a blind skip, never thought it would amount to any use. Then here it is, Spade Royal Flush.

Picked this game up again after not playing all this time, started a fresh profile. Think this was my second run, this build worked pretty well.



I had to use my camera, couldn't make a screenshot. The mult was somewhere along the lines of 5000x I think. The mobile version is very nice as well.

2Mil is pretty high without hacks or seeding.

Yup, just a completely vanilla run. But it was easy, virtually impossible to score less than 1M per hand. Only 19 cards, almost all of which spades, good flush level, 132 multiplier for the Erosion joker, and many subsequent multiplier multipliers. I eventually died because I didn't realise that you could run out of cards to play, i.e. it doesn't shuffle your deck if you've played through everything xD .
