Switch not working after 3 months?
« on: Thu, 22 March 2012, 19:32:50 »
Hey there, I just got a DK 9008s for Christmas, which has been an absolutely terrific keyboard until about a week ago, when my "m" key started to go. It is really quite weird, I come back to it overnight and ill need to wiggle, jam down, and repeatedly press it until it registers, however once it has been "warmed-up" it seems to work 98% of the time. This is really annoying, and I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem, and if not, where the best place to buy spare browns in Canada is?

plate mounted, desolder,,

pcb mounted, just open the switch, clean it, put it back together.

worst case,, you buy a new switch for $5 on wasd keyboards.
