Wow...that's cheaper than a regular Model M NIB I saw... :P

That seems like a decent price for an M13, but I can't really comment on Model M prices since I've never bought one.

all black M keys are pad-printed. dyesub inks must be darker than their substrate

The asking pricing is too high.  You could make and offer.  M13s are expensive because they are rare, and most are not in good condition.  The pad print caps don't last.  The top case around the mouse button area is weak, can crack.  Overall it is not as solidly built as older model Ms.

With Unicomp making basically the same keyboard, this is too high a markup. Maybe under 200 would be a bit more realistic.

Yes, I have an M13 and Unicomp EnduraPro.  The M13 has a real ThinkPad-style TrackPoint and works well.  Unicomp uses a weird resistive strain gauge in a loose plastic housing and doesn't work very well at all.  The M13 has a fairly thin plate...about what Unicomp uses now.  Except for the fragile area around the trackpoint buttons, the case has your typical Model M feel and heft to it.  The Unicomp has the noisy/squeaky plastic shell.

My M13 is in pretty decent shape, but I would not pay this much for one, even NIB.

the trackpoint II is a columnar strain gauge (like modern TPs used by lenovo, but with a much less polished controller) whereas the unit used by unicomp seems to use resistive elements perpendicular to the columnar strain afaict. getting to the center of this is on my todo list once the ssk revival is in full swing

I would say $150 is an acceptable price, but hen there are people that want this keyboard bad. seems like the seller got bunch of them cause I saw them about when he posted them  and he started with 10, he sold 3 and now he is back on 10 again. I suggest let the coast clear out a bit, so once when things slow down he will accept lower offers. I'll ride it out and when time comes I'll offer him 150. To me $275 OBO is kinda high, to some it isnt.

rknize, you mention the different trackpoint between your M13 and Unicomp's models.  Which M13 do you have?  The beige Lexmark one or the black Maxi Switch?

The blue keys on their "Wildcats" keyboard are also pad-printed.
