Is it just me or does she have terrible technique? Looks like hunt and peck with index fingers only, which is very evident at 0:14-0:16.

we (geekhackers) wouldn't be able to stand it, instead of enjoying what seems like a weird rom/com we'd be like "OMG SHE's JUST FAPPING AWAY!" (yea i know it's ironic i use fapping for a woman typist, but that's what it looks like).

it's probably the same thing where military movies are out and real soldiers are like, "that's not a real formation" or "NO TRIGGER DISIPLINE".

hmmm am i embedding wrong? tried both full url and just the youtube id, oh well (nvm, had to use the youtu.be link instead)

So true! It's just like my nurse friends who couldn't' stand watch ER.  :))

she does learn how to type properly
geeky, cheesy, but entertaining and the few eye candy scenes are a bonus

130 is scrub speed... sadly, I r Scrub...  REAL speed begins at 140+...  getting the last 20wpm to 160 is super-ultra-hard

Trust the French to make a film about typing and putting the sexual element in there.  The older typewriters were quite hard to use so most women when they first type quickly start out using only their index fingers because of the force required to activate the print arms/heads to the paper.

My mrs at one time had to use those old typewriters and she had the most powerful grip, you don't want to arm wrestle her because she can physically crush your hand.  She always liked using those older models because it gave her a good workout for several hours at a time.  That is why for super fast typists using the mechanicals you had to be fit and exceptionally tough compared to ones nowadays that just sit in front of PC's playing with their keyboards.

Her finger tips were like steel because when she pointed her index finger into my chest (when she gets mad) it feels like a cold chisel.  She is the only one I don't want to mess with.
