If the US invaded fewer countries, bombed fewer countries, stationed its military in fewer countries and meddled with the politics of fewer countries, I might actually start thinking it is the greatest nation on the planet.
But history has proven that Americans will rather spend a few trillion waging war, than spend a few hundred billion on improving their own infrastructure and education.
For less than the price of the Iraq war you could pay off all outstanding student loans. It's only $1 trillion. But lemme guess: no patriotic American will ever put education before war?
