[Help] Issue with key registering
« on: Mon, 14 July 2014, 02:14:51 »
Hello. I own an HPE87 that I use at work. For some reason the D key either doesn't register, or registers multiple times with one stroke. This issue can be replicated consistantly, so it's not one of those intermittent issues.

One time it spammed the keystroke like 20 times.. I took off all my keycaps and cleaned them and my board, I also used canned air and actually sprayed inside the switch thinking if maybe something was in there but it hasn't seemed to resolve my issue. Anyone have ideas for what I can check for next? It's only the one key that's having the issue.

Thanks!

check the soldering near the controller..  if it looks good.. then just jump the switch with your own copper..

nothing else you can do..
