My road to become a U.S citizen

Hi guys, I haven't been here for too long. But I gotta let it off my chest.

After tons of trouble, the USCIS FINALLY accepted my application to naturalization!!!! 

I immigrated to the US in 2007 as a Permanent Resident(conditional) when I was 14. 
7 Years later here I am.

Just got the mail today from UCSIC scheduling me to take my fingerprints!!!

It doesn't really make sense to naturalize unless you're about to retire within the next 20 years..


 Anyone younger, we're probably going to run out of retirement funds,  and anyone OLDER, may as well pick up their cash and go to newzealand or australia or malta

Well I did have to go through a similar process when getting my Green card.

Be careful.  Look into the tax laws.  I am a U.S. (naturalized) Russian (born) dual citizen, and the U.S. gets rather upset when you choose to live in a different country.  Something to consider if you are thinking of living anywhere else in the future.

This woman I was dating became a citizen while we were dating.  She said it felt the exact same as the day before and the naturalization oath had a bunch of patriotic BS in it.
