it's muting, not bans. and yes, it's a countdown to a percentage.

and now please explain me the reasons why they mute people
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

The thing about Jews is.. IMHO, their sense of self-preservation is a bred-trait following a long lineage of historical persecution..

So what happens when you deal with the j00..  They're very literal and upfront about the fact that they put their well being FIRST.. be it splitting the check, who does what in a project..

The most afflictive j-zero-zero experience I've had was how Explosively temperamental they get when they detect even the slightest disproportionate allocation in their direction..  Their distress at the smallest wavy line borderlines a mental disorder..

Let me give you an example..   if we casually say normal people get the 80% deal they could've gotten..  they're ok with that for the most part, live and let die..   The j00 experience is when he gets a 97% deal, crosses his arms, and turns purple..

It's not that we can not renegotiate and accommodate perfect equality, it's how much unnecessary distress they add to the interactivity during negotiation that makes the j00 experience wholly disconcerting..

That's my take ..

Yeah, you were muted, not banned.  :)  If you were banned, you wouldn't be able to access the site.

And I've said it before, I'll say it again.  If you're wondering how things like that work, on a technical level, feel free to PM me and ask.  I'm always happy to discuss this sort of stuff, wherever possible.

Tp4 lived off the streets of China until Age 7..  So I wouldn't file myself under, oblivious to American Customs..

The rule is Do not DISCRIMINATE..    that is NOT what I'm doing..  I am sharing my experience about my interactions with people of confirmed jewish descent..

This is my experience. I didn't make them that way..

For example, you meet 10 asians, 9/10 likes tofu and rice..   how's that your fault to believe, dang, dem' asians and der' wice..

As for AFK interactions..  the subject of race comes up ALL THE TIME..  maybe not in highschool.. but when you grow up...  You're gonna hear alot of .. that damn jew.. or those damn asians..

AFK.. you'd be correct..

But it's against the interest of the INTERNET.. to keep secrets..  especially on such a trivial issue that MOST people already know about..

Besides..  I don't at all think less of Jewish people for this behavior.. I recognize that it has historical significance, and that this slightly elevated level of selfishness must've been a necessary survival tool..

I believe they're good people.. my only statement has been that their negotiation mannerisms are abrasive..

tons of people are bad at negotiations.  like seriously really bad.  like 'i hate your company and will neer buy again' cs rep: 'so why does it benefit me to give you a discount?'

unless you negotiated with thousands of jews, you can't actually say that jews are bad negotiators; all you can say is that you've met bad negotiators.

what's most entertaining is that the negative traits that the antisemitic russians arrogate to the jews are largely found in the russians themselves.

As someone who is not at all typical in many things, I am very ambivalent about rice. I don't dislike it, but I do avoid eating it. A lot of extended family members also avoid eating rice.

I understand many things about me are very unlike what people expect of Asians.

But as you can see, within a few minutes of interacting with anyone, I can establish that I'm not like what they expect Chinese to be like. Sometimes that causes a hostile or uncomfortable reaction because people don't know what to make of me. But sometimes it also causes a kind of friendly kindred response, because some people like being able to put aside their expected social roles and be themselves because they know I am myself.

Sometimes I wonder if acting like a stereotypical role also causes others to react the same way and act out a stereotypical role unconsciously. I never came across to anyone as a standard Asian-American high achiever in school, a model minority, or whatever that they could pigeonhole properly.

In my experience the vast majority of Jews are not how TP describes them to be like.

okay....this is really stupid sounding. but how does one tell someone is jewish?

history class/general chitchat told me that german soldiers would check for the star or otherwise take their pants off and check for circumcision.  i REALLY rather not do this on a daily basis since i am not a doctor.

do jew haters still pull off everyone's pants?

No need to go for a subverted personal attack. If that is what you believe in, please be consequent and keep quiet. :p

If you want to know if someone is Jewish just ask them on their stance on the Israel/Palestine situation and take a step back to avoid spittle.
It's a very touchy subject for most.

Other than that they are like every other person. Some are *******s, most are not.

My mom would tell me that people were asking her when she was young if she was Jewish because she had a slightly crooked nose bridge... She grew up in a very small town.
