Resistor replacement for poker 2

Resistors are still used in a keyboard matrix as it allows NKRO on a hardware level. So they aren't just for LEDs.

To the OP, GON sells the diodes you are looking for. Those are SMD diodes so it's a bit more annoying to solder onto the pcb compared to through hole components (e.g. the switches, LEDs). So if you are a bit inexperienced with soldering SMD components I suggest getting someone else to do it or proceed with extreme caution as I feel that it's much easier to ruin a PCB by trying to solder on SMD parts if you don't have much experience with soldering.

Nope. I'm pretty sure this was just a typo and you meant to say "diodes". Anyway, great posts and that should get the OP's board up and running again.

Just to note: Diodes have polarity and need to be installed the correct way round in order to work (the stripe or line is always closest to the minus side / cathode), so just make sure to install it the same round as the original was. If it's off the board already and you can't remember which way it was, the ones for the other switches in similar positions should be the same way round so you can use them as a reference. Resistors can be installed either way round.

I saw the picture and knew they were diodes but for some reason I kept referring to them as resistors, thanks for the correction  didn't want to be responsible for further screwing up his PCB

Just look it on Mouser or Digi-key.
