Vortex Type M

What do you guys think about this keyboard?
I was trying to decide between this one and a Leopold FC750r, they look almost identical.

Feels like a rebrand of the same product.  Probably made from the same factory too.

Just get whichever is cheaper/easier to get I guess.  :P

Looks ok to me, but then what do I know? :))

I like the white one best - white white keyboards are less common.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

A new Vortex TKL? Interesting.

Looks like it has the same keycaps and case as the Leopold FC750R, but the spacebar has "normal" stem positions. It could be just like the Varmilo boards, made in the Leopold factory and rebranded, since those also have the "normal" spacebar.

It looks to me like a good board. Vortex brand has a good reputation.
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

Has anyone around here picked one of these up?

I was looking at the Leopold 750R when I noticed the Vortex Type M looks to be exactly the same. The only difference I can see are in the legends (the Vortex seems to include Hangul(?) on its side printing) and the case is grey instead of black (though they both come in white, too).

Haven't heard anything about them though. Very curious as the Hangul(?) legends look neat, though they look to be printed rather than laser etched on the 750R.

As always, I'm split between the colors. The white looks good, but that grey looks very nice indeed.

To be honest, they look almost identical. I guess it just comes down to which brand you prefer, or which one is easier to get shipped to you.

750r also has normal stem positioning

The only thing I can't find is that the 750R has sound deadening installed, whereas the Vortex doesn't mention it at all. I figure they'd mention it if it were included.
